Richard Trewyn
Ïã½¶´«Ã½'s director of risk education and training
Rich joined Ïã½¶´«Ã½ in 2015. Prior to joining Ïã½¶´«Ã½, he was the national safety director for TECTA, and he started his career at FJA Christiansen Roofing Companies in Milwaukee in 1996. With a degree in occupational safety and health from the University of Wisconsin—Whitewater and his numerous certificates and certifications within the safety field, he brings a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise to Ïã½¶´«Ã½. He is an authorized trainer for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA's) 10- and 30-hour construction safety classes and an authorized Certified Roofing Torch Applicator (CERTA) trainer of torch-applied system classes. He also teaches Ïã½¶´«Ã½'s fall-protection and CERTA train-the-trainer classes.
Jon Goodman
Ïã½¶´«Ã½ Roofing subject matter expert
Jon has been with Ïã½¶´«Ã½ since February 2018. He attended Sonoma State University, graduating with a degree in industrial management.
Goodman worked for Hewlett-Packard in production management and from there, he went on to own a roofing contracting company. He also worked as a consultant for the National Center for Construction Education and Research where he assisted with the development of its roofing and solar installer curricula.
Goodman is Ïã½¶´«Ã½â€™s subject matter expert and a ProCertification assessor. He helped develop and write training manuals for Ïã½¶´«Ã½â€™s Training for Roof Application Careers program and is an instructor for various Ïã½¶´«Ã½ educational classes such as Roof Design Considerations, Roof Repair Maintenance, Foreman Leadership Training and Qualified Trainer Conference.
