Rosemont, Ill.—The �㽶��ý has launched the �㽶��ý Health Care Program, the first and only health care program tailored specifically to the roofing industry, in partnership with Vault Health Strategies, Bloomington, Ill.

The �㽶��ý Health Care Program enables �㽶��ý members of all categories and sizes to offer employer-sponsored health care options. The plan is flexible, based on each company’s needs and budget, and can be offered with or without employer contributions. An employer can make available to employees voluntary benefits, such as dental, vision, life, disability and accident insurance, and work with his or her current broker or use an �㽶��ý Health Care Program broker. Coverage includes everything from full-service major medical to supplemental or prescription-only coverage. In addition, the �㽶��ý Health Care Program offers a telehealth option.

As health care costs continue to rise and the industry struggles to recruit new workers, the new health care program is intended to help �㽶��ý members offer company-sponsored health care plans that benefit roofing professionals and also can be used to bolster employee recruitment and retention.

“One of the biggest concerns �㽶��ý members tell us they have is workforce issues—it’s really difficult to attract and retain good employees,” says Reid Ribble, �㽶��ý’s CEO. “As an industry, we must take care of our employees. One important way we can do that is by offering quality benefits such as health insurance.”
