- Distributor: A company that distributes roofing products and/or equipment for the roofing industry
- Industrial/Institutional: School boards, colleges and universities; state, county and city government agencies; corporate maintenance or construction departments
- Manufacturer: A manufacturer of roofing materials and/or equipment for the roofing industry
- Manufacturer’s Representative: An independent sales representative who works on behalf of the roofing industry
- Photovoltaic/Solar: Rooftop photovoltaic material manufacturer or utility; rooftop photovoltaic system service providers
- Raw Material Provider: A company that provides the raw materials for a specific roof system(s), equipment and/or other roofing-related products
